The Teracent Ad Creation infrastructure is architected to maximize flexibility and scalability.

The Teracent Ad Creation infrastructure is unique in its ability to serve a diverse array of advertisers, verticals and campaign strategies. A flexible data model and extensible system design allow ad creation from any dataset across any combination of targeting variables. Selection decision can be driven by ad strategies, predictive machine learning or some combination of the two. Intelligent Display Advertising™ was designed to evolve the future of online display advertising by enhancing the tried and true campaign strategies of today and ultimately fulfilling the promise of true one-to-one marketing.

The Teracent Ad Creation infrastructure consists of three layers:

Ad Content
Teracent’s Content Ingestion layer processes one or many data feeds to be used as dynamic elements such as marketing messages, products, and store locations. Teracent accepts data in the advertiser’s native schema enabling optimization and reporting that is consistent with their data model. Content can be formatted using XML or flat text and can be uploaded via FTP or real-time API.

Teracent's Ad Templating layer is designed as a lightweight presentation layer. Rather than requiring advertisers to use pre-defined ad layouts, Teracent makes innovative ad formats possible using Flash, AJAX and Javascript without sacrificing time to market or design integrity. Teracent leverages the advertisers existing creative assets to produce dynamic ads that are consistent with their brand equity and marketing objectives.

Teracent's Ad Strategies layer provides a framework for defining the interaction of ad content, ad templates, and ad targeting in a clear and understandable language. Optimization objectives and business rules can be applied to each strategy allowing advertisers to discover the perfect balance between automated optimization and insight-driven control.
