UI Developer

The UI Developer will build responsive and elegant web UIs with AJAX and similar technologies. Additionally you will design streamlined and intuitive front-end interfaces and perform analyses and make UI recommendations that affect critical technical initiatives for customer-facing teams.

Requirements:

  • BS or BA in Computer science or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of industry and related experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of UI programming experience.
  • Proven track record developing highly usable and innovative web-based applications.
  • Expert JavaScript, HTML, and AJAX, CSS skills.
  • Experience designing modular, object-oriented JavaScript.
  • Deep understanding of web-based design and the implications of dynamic interface design.
  • Taking initiative to create a best-in-class user experience.
  • Experience working in UNIX/Linux environments.
  • Exceptional problem-solving expertise and attention to detail.
  • Superb self-management skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Java a plus.
  • Experience with UI frameworks such as Dojo, Rico, Flex, or Prototype a plus.

Java Server Engineer

We are looking for a Java Server Engineer with a strong back ground in server side Java Application development. This can include experience with C++. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience to evaluate different technologies and architectural / design options and understand as well as articulate direct and indirect impacts on integration of systems, inter-operability, migration of users, as well as scalability, flexibility and maintainability of the systems.

Requirements:

  • BS / MS / PhD in Computer Science or closely related field
  • Five or more years of experience in developing Java / J2EE applications
  • Extensive experience in designing and implementing high performance, scalable applications
  • Knowledge of J2EE, Relational Databases, SQL and Application Servers
  • Experience in Unix / Linux or Windows environments, distributed systems, network applications and / or developing large applications
  • Knowledge of session management, object relational mapping, XML processing desired

Machine Learning Engineer / Scientist

We are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer / Scientist with a strong background in statistical machine learning and probability. In this role you will develop statistical modeling tools and algorithms for categorization, information retrieval and collaborative filtering. Having implementation skills, preferably in Java, would be major plus.

Responsibilities:

  • applying machine learning to a broad range of applications (or other)
  • Statistical machine learning
  • Probabilistic interference and Bayesian Methods
  • Knowledge of J2EE, Relational Databases, SQL and Application Servers
  • machine based learning technology.
  • improving search relevance
  • implementation in Java preferred, c/c++ ok
  • Information retrieval, categorization, collaborative filtering
  • optimization

Requirements:

  • PhD in Computer Science with specific experience in Machine Learning, Optimization, Information Retrieval, Statistical Modeling or the like
  • Working experience with very large sets of user data
  • Strong implementation skills, preferably in Java, but C++ is ok
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in a small collaborative environment
