SAN MATEO, CA – July 6, 2009 – Teracent Corporation, the leading data-driven ad optimization platform, today announced that it has expanded its sales team in two key regions, New York and Chicago, in response to growing national demand for intelligent display advertising technology. Jay VanDerzee joins Teracent as vice president of sales, East, from his former role of national sales director for Yahoo!, and Courtney McGovern joins as sales director, Central, from her former role as senior account executive, new business, for DoubleClick, a division of Google. Combined, the new team members bring over 25 years of interactive advertising and marketing experience to Teracent.

VanDerzee began his career in digital media with Excite@Home Network where he was tasked with selling the first broadband rich media ads for the high speed portal and focused on the burgeoning performance display segment of the market. During his role as sales executive at Advertising.com, VanDerzee developed an expertise in ad network technology.
